Real-time financial dashboards processing 2M+ daily transactions — built for a Series B startup scaling across North America and Europe.
The challenge
Ledgerly's finance team relied on fragmented spreadsheets and overnight batch jobs. As transaction volume doubled quarter over quarter, leadership needed live visibility into cash flow, revenue recognition, and compliance metrics — without sacrificing auditability.
The existing stack couldn't support sub-second queries across millions of rows while meeting SOC 2 requirements. They needed a partner who could ship fast without cutting corners on security or data integrity.
Our approach
We ran a two-week discovery sprint with CFO and ops stakeholders, mapping critical dashboards and data lineage. From there we designed a modular analytics layer on top of their existing PostgreSQL warehouse, with a React front end and GraphQL API for flexible reporting.
Real-time ingestion via event streams replaced batch ETL for core metrics. Role-based access and immutable audit logs were built in from day one — not bolted on later.
